AEPC has reserved 95 booths to make ”India Pavilion,” for distribution to the registered exporters on ”first-come-first-served” basis, to cater to the growing demands of the buying communities, as well as seeking new business relationship and garner valuable industry intelligence, Reddy, Senior Director, said.
The council would also be participating in the official fashion show of the fair for promoting India Pavilion and Indian participants, who can display six garments by paying Rs 10,000 extra, over the stipulated cost of Rs 2.10 lakh plus 10.3 per cent service tax. Last year, “the fair had attracted 23,200 trade buyers from 92 countries, of which 10,460 were from overseas,” said Reddy.
